What is needed to register a new student?

To be admitted to Visitation School a student must present:
1. Birth Certificate
2. Baptismal Certificate (if not baptized at Visitation)
3. Completed medical and immunization records
4. A non refundable registration fee
All transfer students must provide their most recent report card

What are the dress code requirements?

Girls – Grades K to 4
Blue plaid uniform, blue blouse, navy blue socks and an optional navy blue sweater.

Girls – Grades 5 to 8
Navy blue vest, blue blouse, and plaid skirt to the knee and navy blue socks.

Boys – Grades K to 8
Blue shirt, navy blue slacks and navy blue or plaid tie with an optional navy blue sweater.

Girls and Boys – Pre-K
Navy blue sweat suits. Navy blue shorts and Visitation tee shirt are acceptable for the warmer months of September and May.

Gym Uniform - All Grades
Plain, navy blue sweat suits and sneakers. Navy blue shorts, sneakers and Visitation tee shirts are allowed for the months of September and May. The Visitation logo is the only acceptable design. Shoes for all students must be dark blue or black. Sneakers are allowed with the gym uniform only.

What are school hours?

Students must report to homeroom between 8:00 and 8:15am. Pre-K and Kindergarten are dismissed at 2:50pm and all other grades are dismissed at 3pm.

Is before and after care available?

Before care is available at no additional cost to our parents. Children may be dropped of no earlier than 7:10am. After school care is available at an additional cost to families. Contact us for more details regarding our after school program.

What meals are available?

Visitation is happy to provide students with breakfast, lunch and snack at no cost to the family through our partnership with NDS. Eligibility application forms are sent home the first day of the school year. You can choose from a cold breakfast, hot lunch, and fruit or vegetable snack.
